Lagoon Ave. & Girard Ave. S.
Leasing Information
Located in an incredible urban location, Mozaic brings new office and restaurant space, expanded parking options, and a public plaza to Uptown! Mozaic offers a vibrant urban setting where you can work, live, or enjoy life without needing a car.
Mozaic's first phase started construction in January 2011 and completed in early 2012. The building is located immediately behind the Lagoon Theater and adjacent to the Uptown Transit Center, and is 10-stories in height.
The first floor is home to Bar Louie, Origami Sushi and lobbies for the parking garage and office space. The second through seventh floors contain the public parking garage, which screened with vertical color panels and a six-story green wall. The top three floors contain approximately 66,000 square feet of class A office space.
A public plaza adjacent the West Building in line with Girard Avenue, provides Uptowners and visitors an opportunity to read, eat, relax, meet up with friends, and otherwise just enjoy the day. The plaza links Lagoon Avenue at Girard Avenue with the Midtown Greenway via a new pedestrian/bike bridge over- and a new ramp down to the Midtown Greenway. The bridge and ramp also connect to Girard Avenue on the north side of the Greenway, providing pedestrian and bicycle access to areas to the north. The bridge and ramp were funded in part by a Hennepin County Transit Oriented Development grant.
The east side of the site contains the parking garage exit tunnel and exit as well as a 120-stall surface public parking lot accessed off of Fremont Avenue. Phase II of the Mozaic project will be constructed on the surface parking lot.
