The Ackerberg Group is located on the northwest corner of Lake Calhoun where Excelsior Boulevard and Lake Street intersect in Uptown Minneapolis. Our offices are on the ground floor of the Lake Calhoun Center. The five-story, blue-glass building is known for the windsurfer on its roof. Complimentary valet parking is available off of the large parking lot on the west side of the building.

From Downtown Minneapolis:
Take LaSalle Avenue south to Lake Street. Take west (right) onto Lake Street. Continue on Lake Street, following it as it curves and becomes Lagoon Avenue (by the Arby’s). Follow Lagoon Avenue past Lake Calhoun (on your left). Take a left (south) on West Lake Calhoun Parkway. Take the first right into our parking lot.

From the West & South Metro:
Take Highway 100 to the Excelsior Boulevard Exit. Turn east onto Excelsior Boulevard (McDonald’s and Park Nicollet Hospital are on your left). Continue past the golf course and the Whole Foods. Turn right into our parking lot at Market Place, which is two blocks before Lake Calhoun.

From the East Metro:
Take Interstate 94 west towards Downtown Minneapolis.Take the South Hennepin Avenue / Lyndale Avenue exit. Follow the left lane of the exit and continue on the bridge to South Hennepin. Follow Hennepin Avenue to Lagoon Avenue. Take a right on to Lagoon Avenue and follow it past Lake Calhoun. Take a left (south) on West Lake Calhoun Parkway. Take the first right into our parking lot.

From the North Metro:
Take the South Hennepin Avenue / Lyndale Avenue exit from I-94. Keep in the right lane as you pass the Walker Art Center and follow it onto South Hennepin. Follow Hennepin Avenue to Lagoon Avenue. Take a right on to Lagoon Avenue and follow it past Lake Calhoun. Take a left (south) on West Lake Calhoun Parkway. Take the first right into our parking lot.

By Bus:
Routes 12 and 17 serve the Lake Calhoun Center. Use the bus stop at Dean Parkway or Market Plaza.

By Bike:
The Midtown Greenway, Kenilworth, and Grand Rounds (including the chain of lakes) recreational trails provide a quick, enjoyable ride to Lake Calhoun Center. All three of those trails run near our building. Bike racks are located by the valet shelter off of the parking lot on the west side of the building. Click here for a a detailed bike access map.
