1101 West Broadway Building receives historic preservation award

MINNEAPOLIS, MN - American Institute of Architects - Minnesota, Minneapolis Heritage Preservation Commission, and Preserve Minneapolis recognized the 1101 West Broadway Building with the 2008 Neighborhood Preservation Award on May 22, 2008. The award is the third real estate award that the project has received.

Margo Geffen, project manager, believes part of the project's success is due to the partnerships formed throughout the development project. "The partnerships forged throughout the [development] process has helped to turn the building from a vacant, boarded building into a home for several community-focused businesses."
